Now there's a little back ground of my family, me, well I'm pretty easy. Mom, Wife, Graphic Designer, Creator, Crafter, Pizza Maker, Office Specialist and home business nut! I started my craft business Patchwork Jane's 3 years ago, I started off sewing baby items for my growing baby then it turned into tutu's and hair accessories. Now I'm still making tutu's and hair accessories but as I started earlier, I'm ready to grow, branch out, add some new stuff. I've started making wallets and purses, now I've added slouchy beanies and whatever else I can think of. I love to create, to make something and feel accomplished. Next up is fabric designing, I didn't get a B.S. is Visual Communications to not use it. lol Well I think I've talked a lot today, tomorrow I'll be posting about my slouchy beanie and where you can get the pattern. :) Kinda

Crazy New Adventures!
Crazy as it seems, I feel like I need to do more, to branch out and grow. As a mother of 5, I'm already busy, add in a self made craft business that's been going for 3 years now, 2 part time jobs and did I mention the 5 kids! A newly turned 16 year old boy, who loves band and is experiencing his first ever girlfriend it's a whole new world right now for him. My 14 year old daughter is full of life, busy as can be with working, yes, already a job as she loves to work, theater, and a slew of allergy and asthma issues. She's never been one to let that stop her from achieving what she wants, I love that about her. My 10 year old daughter is obsessed with horses and is currently taking riding lessons and mucking (cleaning) stalls on Sunday's to earn her free lessons. Love that she is learning how to work her way in the world and that getting what you really want isn't just handed to you, you have to work for it. Now my 8 year old is my challenge, he's very smart, he processes things that most kids his age just wouldn't get yet. But he's a challenge, he struggles with dealing with his emotions and how to process how he is feeling, loves math and while loves books is having a hard time reading, yet he is my sweetheart, loves to help and just hang out. Now my littlest one, our baby is about 3 1/2 right now and is a busy body. She's another smart one, picks things up from her older siblings and latches on, which can be both good and bad at times. She loves to play, has a fabulous imagination, and since she started crawling and standing up at 6 months (on the same day I might add), she's been on the move and wanting to learn and experience new things every day. Her favorite thing to do is go to the library with her daddy and pick out new books. All busy kids, a few of the kids have been through a divorce and struggle but have bounced back and are turning out to be amazing kids! I'm pretty lucky to have such great kids and often wonder how they ended up so amazing with all the struggle a few of them have been through. Now to my amazing and very talented husband of 5 years, he joined my little clan in 2010 and I guess really liked us because he never left. lol I can't imagine my life without him in it, he's my other half and it really just took me a little while to find him. My kids love him and he loves them, I'm very blessed in that. He's a geek at heart, an animator of graphics for fun and web designer for trade.
